From the deepest recesses of Castle Grief - the hideous snapping of tortured typewriters.
The wretched scrawl of pens on paper, and the incessant clacking of death saves being rolled.
This is “Black March,” a fully analog-created/digitally presented zine straight from my gaming table to yours.
In this issue: magical items, a hideous undead plague, a keyed hexcrawl, a tomb that is a goblin fungus farm that is actually an ancient race’s death-driven power plant!!!
Check it out HERE for just $2:

This will be the first of several of these - physically cut and pasted directly from notebooks and player gazettes, scanned from typewriter pages and my own scribblings. A way to share that old school feel of maps and hand drawn stuff that hopefully inspires you and gives you good vibes.
Have fun, and keep your blades sharp!
I need to switch to your coffee brand- the amount of work you are putting out lately is insane! How do you find time for all this?!
I would love an article about your work flow. How you spend your time when you set aside time for RPGs and how you manage your own creative output. I’m ADHD and a forever DM. I find I end up putting so much effort on my improv skills because I don’t have a map of how to properly plan out the execution of all that goes into setting up a game. I love the Dungeon23 movement because it breaks down mega dungeons into bite sized chunks I can understand. I’d love to know how you went about creating the west marches setting, the Mork Borg module and your weekly games.
