Knightsblood: a free, hand-drawn microhack
Dark Fort meets Witcher in a mini-campaign mode for Mörk Borg seed game “Dark Fort”
Hey all!
Been very hard at work with a handful of larger projects (more on those and a teaser at the end of this email).
As a gift to my subscribers here and those who follow my work elsewhere, I wanted to throw this out there in the meantime.
I recently had a hankering for something really simple to solo play while I was sick, and broke out my little cardstock copy of Dark Fort that came with one of the Mörk Borg zines.
A great little game where you scrawl and explore dungeons.
The Feretory zine has great simple overland rules and tables (and hunting rules and other great stuff like town generators), and by combining the two, I’ve been running a really satisfying mini campaign that has me monster hunting and traveling from dungeon to dungeon.
Check out this little PDF at my itch page if you like, and I’ll probably add onto this soon for a little booklet but it’s fun as is for now:

Most of my time has been going into these two things:
And this:
More on both of these after the break.
Keep your blades sharp.
PS: I’ll be adding something cool, an exclusive download as a reward for those who share these articles in the near future.
In the meantime, just forward it on if you like the little booklet, and know I appreciate you!
Love the covers of these.
