If you’ve been following these, Aîwar is having a rough time.
When we last left him, he was stabbed in an attempted robbery and then extorted for all of his money.
He’d already been press ganged into some quest for the sheriff to get out of an arson charge picked up on the Shadowdark carousing tables.
In this episode, our intrepid hero briefly turns to a life of crime (it ends so badly!), and then looks for redemption through dungeon crawling.
Also in my notes: rubber stamps for hex maps! Made these for ease of mapping so I don’t have to draw much of anything else on the overland map - I’ll just stamp it!
When Aîwar gets to Cernwenn An Arawn, the massive elven ruin in Grafwood, I used the Shadowdark dice drop tables and the simple d6 oracle to populate areas and decide what was happening.
I didn’t slow down much to make sure anything was realistic or whatever, I just played, had a blast, and made some drawings and maps.
Most of my rolls are included here, but all narrative jumps are the product of oracle rolls or flipping a random book open for an adjective, verb, noun etc. when I get stumped.

Hell yeah, love reading these! So inspirational. Also those mapping stamps are rad - I'd like to make some of those myself!
I'd love to know more about how you made those stamps! They are pretty damn rad!
