What’s up ghouls -

A little update since I haven’t been writing many full articles lately (but I stay up to speed with notes and have been reading many of your pieces!!)

Mainly, I’ve between crazy work hours and finally getting the newest Kickstarter fulfilled, I haven’t had a ton of time for relaxing solo sessions or long creative endeavors.

I have kicked off a Hardrun Valley game in person with some old friends, and that’s been going swimmingly, will do some articles on that if it continues…

However, in the meantime, as I prep to release the Kal-Arath box set (news on that soon!), I’ve been working on one pagers at work as I steal time in the break room, at meetings, or on phone calls -

Then uploading them at my ITCH storefront for you all to snatch up and use at your own grimy tables for free (though tips are always welcomed and appreciated!)

Here’s a quick gander at some of the process (and a first look at a brand new one I’m working on)

In “Cimmeria,” you take on the role of a warrior clawing out a living in the unforgiving realm of the world’s most famous barbarian…

Tereghat: City of Spires is a nice little drop-in city for your sword and sorcery or Kal-Arath campaign, complete with factions, encounters, and even some slang from the streets of the city!

Here’s a sneak preview of “Shrine of the Axe Maiden,” a single page point crawl and dungeon I’m putting together next…

Once I have a little more time on my hands, I’ll be working on new Kal-Arath stuff, (including a planned dungeon supplement) more artwork, and of course new articles here when I get another solo campaign kicked off!

The Kal-Arath box set is going to go up very soon and will include all 4 print zines, the OST cassette, 3 art prints with exclusive content on the backs, sticker packs, and probably a fold up black and white poster.

They’ll be a little spendy due to amount of material packed within the box, and limited to probably right around 30 in total since that’s about all I will have enough zines to make.

I’ll announce here, and on my Instagram and X accounts, as well as over at the official Castle Grief Discord, where we have a lot of fun discussing CG stuff as well as other TTRPGs, books, music, movies, and all that goodness. Come join the conversation.
