Haxos Pt. 3 and D6 Skill System
Pretty lucky on the 5 hexes but not so lucky in the fortress. Sounds like some fun fights!!
Definitely. Ghouls ALWAYS kick my ass. They’re a real bastard at low level saving throws.
I like the ‘X in d6’ skill system, the simplicity of it is very appealing and I usually come back to it when I’m thinking about ‘old-school’ games.
Removing the Thief class feels (appropriately enough) like blasphemy, but combining it with the Fighter class is kind of genre appropriate.
Technically it wasn’t in ODND until the supplements so it’s TOTALLY THE PROPER WAY haha. I do have mixed feelings on the thief as its own class, especially since Conan, the Mouser etc were all badass fighters AND thieves.
I quite like that skill system. I may have to adapt it slightly for my new setting.
Hell yeah. Hoping to get a bunch of this setting and house rules written and cleaned up to go along with the map as a digital bundle or something
Just absorbing this and taking time to think this over. I love it though. I really dig how LotfP handles skills.
High quality stuff as usual <3
Thank you!!
